Interesting video, thanks! The Craftsman from 99 through about 06 with the Kohler Command single & HydroGear trans are still hot sellers on the used market. I’ve had 25 year old models that still ran perfectly. The CV15s & Cv16s were outstanding engines.

I'm not sure why but I've noticed on every John Deere LA series the paint has scrapped off like that. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not sure why cause I have a mower older than that and the paint is still good from 98

I just repaired my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan rear power hatch and took the time to clean the filthy plastic panels back there. The hatch was jammed shut (cheap eBay power latch had thin metal that bent and jammed) so it wasn’t used. It got dust and dirt inside and out the inner hatch plastics. Granted I didn’t use your sponsors brand, but the one I did worked excellent. I use my van to pick up car parts with occasional passenger use, and I spent to undo the previous owner’s incompetent “repair work”, including suspension, brakes, bearings, oil filter cooler, tires, etc. Anyone considering one of these for cargo use, look at the 2011 or newer versions with the Pentastar. Ignore the haters, the engine is better than the old 3.3/3.8/4.0 V6, no offense to you Mr. Ellis 😉

Well Ellis, the family used to have a 1984 Chevy Citation II hatchback vehicle, and it lasted all the way to 2006, with over 400,000 miles on it, which caused the odometer to start over, as there were no more numbers on it. It began having an overheating problem, that as it turns out, was caused by a crack in the block, allowing engine coolant to get into the oil crankcase, thinning it out, until it reached its demise, and ceased up the engine. By that point in time, my mom & dad had passed away, and my income alone could not afford the high costs of buying a new car. So whats in my driveway now? Absolutely nothing but a pile of broken dreams I'm afraid. But I work on small engines, fix people's machines for a low cost, and I mow some lawns too.

FYI getting those rear end rims off I haven't done it but using a propane /LP torch and an Air hammer with the flat head fitting not the punch fitting, they can be found for under twenty $$ is probably the best way to get them off with out using a puller and so on and not a cutting torch

33:30 on that spring and others the best tool I found to use is an Auto Brakes shoes spring Tool to both put it back on and to take off is the easiest way to do it.. other ways are much more harder to get the job done

350 is a deal Hell i may have to pay that for a JD hood from a dealer and just the top part Maybe ill build a wooden hood for it lol as i cant seem to find any used ones in Canada Plus theres tons of Torque or standard trans you can up grade it with out there Personally i prefer the standard I pick a gear and relax I dont have to keep pushing a pedal down To mow a lawn and spill my beer ect

Man was mine a pain in the ass to get the belt off the back pulley! But for a free tractor that runs and cuts, I can't complain to much because I could be push mowing 😂, thanks for the input

This was the video I have been looking for because I was dreading take that tire off again it's a 16x6.5-8 got a tube ordered I put a new tire on last week and new valve stem but 2 days later leaked down? maybe a bad rim a tube should fix it? I sure am glad this job can be done without removing the tire from the rim again Thx and Subscribed 👍

Same exact mower with same exact issue. Ive tried all the fuel stuff etc you have. Going to set valve lash.. Used to run for 10-15 minutes then get hot n die out.
